The replacement of plastic bottles for glass bottles, the water and energy efficiency of the building and waste recycling contribute to its commitment to environmental preservation.
 
At Hotel das Salinas, all taps have water reducers and all flushes have double flush, thus contributing to the increase of water efficiency.
 
The guest is also made aware of the need to reuse towels, avoiding the daily change, in order to reduce washing and thus save water, energy, and detergent.
 
The same care is applied to energy. All the lamps in Hotel das Salinas are LED, that is, they are environmentally friendly lamps, since they consume less energy, allowing the saving of precious amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2). A LED bulb can last up to 50 thousand hours, which is equivalent to a durability of up to 10 years.
 
In all rooms and spaces of the Hotel das Salinas there are recycling bins available, encouraging the guest to this sustainable practice.
